This was my very first book. Paul and I arrived in Trinidad and drove south to Julian, just outside San Diego, looking for those uniquely California people and places that abound here. This little treasure book is hand-lettered and all the illustrations were done as we traveled.
Alas, after 11 years, I’m told it will not be reprinted, so if you can find it somewhere… grab it and add it to your collection.
